About me and my work

I mostly work with soft, natural materials when creating my textile sculptures. My drawings usually start with coloured pencils, markers or wax crayons. The papers I use are lightfast and acid-free to ensure that every piece can sustain both time and sunlight. The framing is designed in collaboration with a professional, and each frame is custom-made with non-reflective glass.In my work, I am drawn to a simplified visual language, airy compositions and the use of empty space. I also enjoy creating studies that explore the lines and forms which best capture the essence of a subject.I hold a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the University of Helsinki. I've developed my drawing skills through personal dedication and practice. ◡̈
